Having read books 1 and 2 i was in a hurry to read book 3. i love series! Nancy C Davis writes a good book and tells a consistently good story. i have read all the books in her "Sweet" series so i knew going in i like her style. any of the books can stand alone but i do love the chance to really get to know the characters and see them evolve and grow. whether the main characters are cats or people , they are well drawn with her pen and words.Product details

Kinda difficult to read
This is the first murder mystery book I've read in the "Cat Detective Cozy Mystery Series". It was fun and odd at the same time. I'll be checking out other books in this series.
Really enjoyed the fun and happy cats written about in this book. Of course they solved the murder and showed the police the evidence needed to arrest the murderer.
Writing is interesting but these are very short stories, more novella than book. There is some awkwardness in the writing
when a scene transitions; noticeable especially when story shifts from gathering clues to solution. The cat characters are great!
It is amazing to me how the author manages to bring the life of cats to the pages at the same time that she is writing about them solving crimes. Very enjoyable.
There wasn't a lot of activity by the cops but the cats really stepped up to solve the mystery. I loved how Willow and Nat got Naya and Carl to see the right page of the report that proves who the killer is. It's a quick read that I didn't want to put down until I was finished reading it.
